Born in Melito di Porto Salvo (RC) in 1993, since a young age she has combined her studies with her great passion for singing. She began studying classical singing at the age of 16 under the guidance of soprano Liliana Marzano. After obtaining a scientific high school diploma, in 2018 she graduated with top marks from the three-year classical singing program at the F. Cilea Conservatory of Rc. In 2020, she completed the two-year advanced program in singing at the same conservatory, graduating with a grade of 110/110 with honors. She has participated in various musical events organized by the F. Cilea Conservatory in her city, earning certificates of merit for her performances under the direction of great maestros. She made her debut in the role of Livietta in Pergolesi’s intermezzo “Livietta e Tracollo” at the Palazzo Corrado Alvaro (RC). In 2017, she was a finalist in the International Lyric Singing Competition “Beppe de Tomasi.” She took part in the concert “Venti di Note I Virtuosi dell’Accademia,” organized by the International Academy of Music of Cagliari, in collaboration with Luciana Serra. As a solo soprano, she performed in a concert in honor of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic at the “Francesco Cilea” Theatre in Reggio Calabria, conducted by M° Antonino Manuli. She also performed as a solo soprano in a concert on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of Gioachino Rossini, “Crescendo Rossiniano,” at the “Francesco Cilea” Theatre in Reggio Calabria, conducted by M° Manuela Ranno. In 2019, she debuted in the role of Ancella in “Turandot” by G. Puccini at the Ancient Theatre of Taormina, alongside tenor Marcello Giordani, conducted by M° James Meena and directed by Enrico Stinchelli. In 2023, she was a semifinalist in the audition for the “Accademia dell’Operà de Paris.” In the same year, she was among the semifinalists in the International Lyric Competition “Eugenia Burzio.” In 2023, she also debuted in the role of Countess in Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” at the F. Cilea Theatre in Reggio Calabria, conducted by M° Alessandro Tirotta. Study and refinement have been the guiding principles that, together with passion and enthusiasm, have driven the soprano to hone her natural talent. She has made the most of the lessons learned through participation in various masterclasses and seminars with esteemed teachers such as Rolando Panerai, Donata D’Annunzio Lombardi, Desirée Rancatore, Luciana Serra, Marcelo Giordani, and Mariella Devia. She fully embraces and enthusiastically lives out what leads her to further enhance her musical gift: she is currently studying and perfecting her voice and singing with bass-baritone Gaetano Tirotta.
